Mobile unit roams 10 rural counties with health screening services

Cumberland Family Medical Center is a non-profit corporation established by interested south-central Kentucky community members in 2007.

Today, they serve residents over ten counties so that people have access to high quality primary and preventive health services regardless of patients' ability-to-pay.

As a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), Family Medical services are provided to patients through five Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. sites located in Columbia (Adair Family Medical Center), Burkesville (Cumberland Family Medical Center), Albany (Clinton Family Medical Center), Russell Springs (Russell Family Medical Center), and Whitley City (McCreary Family Medical Center). The ten county service area includes Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Hart, McCreary, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell and Wayne Counties.

Dr. Eric Loy is the CEO and medical director for Family Medical, and serves part time as a medical provider.
